Our latest event saw 62 Astutians go to Poole Greyhounds for an evening of drinks, excitement, more drinks, and the chance to stray onto the track and meet the athletes afterwards. This weekend, the Bournemouth Air Festival came to town – which can mean only one thing: it’s time for the legendary Astute Summer Party on the beach! The venue this year was Koh Thai Lounge pop-up venue on the beach between the piers, and with the drinks flowing, the Air Show overhead, bongo rhythms in our ears, and fantastic Thai tapas in our bellies, everyone had a fantastic night.
Astute does Total Wipeout! 60 Astutians gathered early one Sunday morning at New Forest Water Park, ready to take on the UK’s very first Aqua Park. Wetsuits – check. Game faces – check. Dignity left safely at the door – check. Everyone had a fantastic time negotiating the floating, inflatable obstacle course. All that was missing was Richard Hammond’s commentary!
